The EQ tech support people answer questions promptly and there is lots of info presented. Butterfly, check in your Design Cookbook, the bigger book that came with EQ4 and look under Importing Pictures, then you can set them on layer 2 or 3 of any quilt layout. That should help. When importing the "delete pictures from camera" seems to always be greyed out for my canon SD630 (a very new model). When importing it would be really nice to have an "autogenerate folder name" feature. Better still, importing pictures to folders with the correct dates for those pictures would be nice (ie:

There is also the question of what file format to save the picture in. Again, this depends on how much drive space you have available. If you are cramped for disk memory, you can use jpeg. However, since I now have big drives, I am storing original image in tiff, so as not to lose as much.
