When you import a picture into a frame you can set the scale which will reduce the size of the picture proportionately. Its been a while since I have done this. Check out the doumentation relating to importing pictures, look for scaling. Those generated indexes in Microsoft manuals are great ( aren't they?).

how can I automate the folder where the pictures are to go? FOr example, I would like to have all of the pictures go to the folder c:\mypics\ 2005-07-11 if I am importing pictures on July 11th. It seems I always have to browse to the root folder (c:\mypics) then create a new folder based on the date.
